About The Position

Assists in the loan process by verifying information in all loan files, ordering documents needed to complete the files, updating information on the computer system and keeping organized and complete loan files, in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures and compliance with pertinent regulatory requirements. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of multiple loan types, purchase transactions, and home lending regulation
  • MS Office – Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of title insurance and how it pertains to lending
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Available to work additional hours with seasonal volume
  • Patient, positive attitude, extreme attention to detail, great organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain regular, predictable attendance
  • Comfortable with standard technology, Microsoft Office, and possess Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to work as a team and cover each other’s duties for PTO

Responsibilities

  • Review online applications and broadcast to MLOs if not complete.
  • Verify information provided on application including employment, income, down payment deposit, residence, etc.
  • Review file for completeness of all required documents.
  • Prepare Early Disclosures, including changed circumstances, if necessary, perform early and final QM/ATR check.
  • Complete third party orders (appraisals, tax transcript, flood determination, title work, etc.), track & verify receipt.
  • Review title work, etc. Mail appraisal to customer, check LTV, re-submit to DU if necessary. Confer with MLO regarding any title issues.
  • Download customer Share files and store, print, categorize in Accu Systems accordingly.
  • Start and update loan applications in LOS.
  • Assist MLO with flood insurance, hazard insurance and mortgage insurance.
  • Set up and maintain files in Accu Systems.
  • Be the back up Mortgage Loan Administrator when she is out and help with overflow for closing prep duties.
  • Assist MLO with grant applications, calculations, submissions and updates.
  • General assistant duties for MLO.
