Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mortgage lending or a similar role.
  • Active NMLS license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Strong understanding of loan programs, products, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using loan origination software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation:
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
  • Educate clients on various loan programs and guide them through the loan application process.
  • Application Management:
  • Assist clients in completing loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect and review necessary documentation to facilitate the loan approval process.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on the status of their loan applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, underwriters, and processors to expedite the loan approval and closing process.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the entire loan process.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all client interactions.
  • Stay informed about changes in lending guidelines and communicate updates to clients as needed.
  • Pipeline Management:
  • Manage a pipeline of loan applications, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Utilize loan origination software to track and update client information.
