Requirements
- Requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and motivation to achieve goals
- Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License or the ability to obtain MLO status with NMLS and applicable state licenses
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Attend networking events and strategically cultivate a pipeline of leads and referral sources
- Diligently pursue leads provided to you with contact via telephone, email, and/or in-person meetings
- Schedule and attend appointments with prospective borrowers to deliver loan proposals and presentations you have prepared for them
- Evaluate the credit and financial status of prospective borrowers to determine appropriate residential loan options
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines
- Research competing products and trends
- Ability to thrive in a commission-based sales role
