Under the direction of the SVP/Residential Lending assists members in determining the proper mortgage program, completing the mortgage application and gathering the necessary documentation to begin the mortgage approval process. Reviews mortgage loans based on secondary market and RFCU guidelines for pricing and offers and accepts mortgage loan rate locks. Determines product and investor eligibility for all loans. Meets with members both in person and over the phone regarding loan program criteria, conditions and status. Accepts loan applications using secondary market and RFCU guidelines. Determines documentation necessary to support loan applications. Collects and analyzes customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers. Manages a portfolio of customer relationships. Seeks prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients. Responsible for sales calls. Works with Branch personnel to train and assist them in taking mortgage applications. Ensures compliance with HMDA data collection procedures. Ensures accurate entry of data into LOS system. Complies with Federal, State and local laws and regulations by maintaining a current knowledge of same.
