About The Position
Mission San Jose Mortgage is seeking both new and experienced Mortgage Loan Officers to join our expanding team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to choose your own hours while being part of a reputable company known for its commitment to excellence and integrity in the mortgage industry. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and closing mortgage loans in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will evaluate loan applications and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process. In this role, you will analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine the feasibility of granting loans. Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in the mortgage market is crucial. You will collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to expedite the loan approval process while maintaining confidentiality of customer information and adhering to data protection regulations. Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the mortgage department will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist in training and mentoring junior loan officers and handle any escalated customer concerns or issues in a professional manner. Mission San Jose Mortgage prides itself on providing comprehensive support, advanced technology, and a wide range of products to its Mortgage Advisors. The company is licensed in multiple states, including North Carolina, and offers a competitive commission structure based on experience. New loan officers can expect to earn between 100 Bps to 137.5 Bps, while seasoned professionals can earn up to 225 Bps.
