About The Position
Mission San Jose Mortgage is seeking both new and experienced Loan Officers to join our expanding team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to operate from the comfort of your home or any location of your choice. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and closing mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will evaluate loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness, providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process. Your role will involve analyzing applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine the feasibility of granting loans. Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in the mortgage market is crucial to your success in this position. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with underwriters, processors, and other team members to expedite the loan approval process. Maintaining confidentiality of customer information and adhering to data protection regulations is essential. You will also be expected to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the mortgage department. Additionally, you will assist in training and mentoring junior loan officers and handle any escalated customer concerns or issues professionally.
