About The Position

Are you looking to join the best mortgage company in Brevard County? Morgan Financial is a growing, customer-centric, Mortgage Lender located in Melbourne, FL. We are looking for top talent to join our successful team. Currently, we have an opening for a Mortgage Loan Officer. The ideal candidate will have mortgage sales experience. An active NMLS license or a recent passing grade of the NMLS exam are required. We will provide onboarding training that will train you to not just be a successful Loan Officer but will also instruct you on the Morgan Financial Way. This is a great opportunity for someone newly licensed, or someone that may not have a ton of recent mortgage sales experience! This position is a full-time position that requires a highly energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented person. Applicants should be able to work from our office in Melbourne, FL. Qualified applicants should have a desire to be successful in all they do! Requirements

  • NMLS Mortgage Originator License is required.
  • College Degree – preferably in business or related field
  • 1-3 Years Mortgage Experience is required.
  • Will consider candidates with an NMLS license who have recent (non-mortgage) sales experience.
  • This is an in-office position; we will not be considering remote workers.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Encompass is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Take leads, follow up with them, and close the Sale
  • Orchestrate the transaction from lead through closing
  • Take loan applications
  • Quickly determine if the lead is a viable loan
  • Send out needs lists to client
  • Collect documents and complete pre-approval
  • Support processing and admin staff when appropriate
  • Follow up with referral partners
  • Maintain positive client relations
  • Continues to look for ways to improve process(es)
  • Looks for ways to streamline process(es)
  • Follows up with past leads
  • Follow up with clients after closing to get more leads
