About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Loan Officer to join our team, responsible for evaluating, authorizing, or recommending approval of loan applications for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage servicing, sales, and exceptional customer service skills.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Loan Officer or similar role
• Strong understanding of loan processing procedures
• Knowledge of basic math and financial principles
• Proficient in financial software applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Guide customers through the loan application process
• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Maintain an active knowledge of current industry regulations and guidelines
