About The Position
The Mortgage Loan Officer position at Firstrust Bank is a hybrid role based in Horsham, PA, with opportunities available in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. The primary objective of this role is to originate residential mortgage loans in compliance with the guidelines set forth by Firstrust Bank and its investors. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for managing the entire loan origination process, ensuring customer satisfaction from the initial application through to loan closing and beyond. This position is designed to meet specific loan production goals while adhering to quality standards and compliance requirements. In this role, the Mortgage Loan Officer will actively solicit mortgage loan business from both external sources, such as realtors, builders, financial advisors, and accountants, as well as internal sources, including Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers. The officer will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all loans are processed and closed in a timely and accurate manner. Additionally, the officer will be responsible for completing all required application documents accurately and requesting necessary documentation from borrowers to ensure compliance with guidelines and program requirements. The position also requires a commitment to the mission and core values of Firstrust Bank, with daily compliance to federal and state regulations, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the President and Vice President of Mortgage Lending, contributing to the overall success of the mortgage lending team.
