About The Position

SWBC Mortgage is offering a rare opportunity to break into the mortgage industry through our Mortgage Loan Officer Apprentice Program. This structured, paid apprenticeship is designed for motivated individuals who want to learn from top-producing professionals and build a long-term career in mortgage lending. You’ll work directly with a leading loan officer team, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to real mortgage leads. Whether you’re working remotely or in-office, you’ll be part of a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Requirements

Availability: Immediate. Must obtain NMLS license required before start, contact for details.
Interest in the field of business management/ marketing/ sales/ finance
Finance and/or client relationship background preferred, but not required
Ability to work with cloud based technologies, web platforms and MS Office products, outgoing personality; ability to communicate with clients via phone and in person
Ability to pass background and compliance testing, as well as licensing testing
Basic mathematical skills required, advanced mathematical abilities helpful

Nice To Haves

Finance and/or client relationship background preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients about the mortgage approval process, qualifications, and programs
Coordinate with our team to complete loan files.
Manage a client database to generate applications—no cold calling required.
Attend weekly team trainings and participate in a variety of industry education sessions.
Learn the full mortgage process from lead to close in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
