The Mortgage Loan Coordinator role will be responsible for performing a variety of documentation duties related to both agency and portfolio loans while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for all loan products. Candidates must possess proficiency with technology and a strong sense of urgency with an ability to work in a team environment while maintaining excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Ability to self-manage a pipeline by reviewing and confirming if all minimum items have been received as outlined on the Loan Coordinator Checklist. The Loan Coordinator is responsible for reviewing the file for completeness, reading all comments from the Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO)/ Mortgage Loan Assistant (MLA), indexing all the docs in the unassigned section of the efolder to the appropriate placeholders and completing all order outs per instructions laid out by management.
  • Maintain daily workflow prioritization to ensure loan set up is completed timely and loan advances with quality to the next milestone.
  • Adhere to published SLAs to promote effective pipeline management.
  • Analyze and ensure all documentation received is accurate and meets minimum required documentation as outlined by our Mortgage procedures, Loan Coordinator checklist and AUS as applicable.
  • Complete all order-outs per instructions from the Loan Officer.
  • Process Appraisal Refunds
  • Reconcile Credit Card Accounting deposit report from Accounting.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties to the transaction to keep them informed of file status.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • High school Diploma or General education degree.
  • Ability to effectively use various computer software applications.
  • Ability to embrace and adopt all Technology as set forth by the line(s) of businesses.
  • Basic accounting and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to effectively Multitask.
