About The Position

Drive-By Property Inspector (Independent Contractor) Meridian, MS and Lauderdale Count y National Mortgage Field Services is actively seeking a reliable independent contractor located in or near Meridian, MS to handle local property inspections. This is a field-based role suited for individuals who are already working independently and can manage their own territory. What You’ll Do: Drive to assigned properties in your local area Take required exterior photos Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant) Submit reports using a mobile app This is not random gig work — this is territory-based assignment work. Contractors who stay consistent are given continued volume in their area. What We’re Looking For: Must live in or very near the Meridian, MS area Must be dependable and able to complete work on time Comfortable working independently and managing routes Reliable vehicle and smartphone required Additional Requirements: Background check required Basic computer access for form submission Ability to follow photo and reporting guidelines Compensation: Paid per inspection (varies by area and volume) Rural routes often allow multiple inspections per run This role works best for individuals already doing: Field services Property preservation Real estate-related work Delivery or route-based work with flexible scheduling We are currently building out coverage in this area and are looking for someone who can take ownership of this territory.
