Duties & Responsibilities Review and audit closing packages for accuracy and completeness Prepare credit and legal documentation packages for delivery Follow-up with title to correct errors and omissions in closing documents Transmit and/or deliver files to investors Transmit and/or deliver files to sub-servicer Follow-up with trailing documentation Ensure closed loan packages are delivered by deadline Correspond with Title companies and Attorneys Verifies that all stipulations requested are valid and met to ensure that loans are saleable/purchased Input data into investor delivery systems Adhere to investor delivery policies and procedures Collect and follow-up with title companies, attorneys and/or county recorder’s offices to obtain final loan documentation Prepare logs and update records Complies with Credit Union Policies and Procedures, as well as regulatory compliance Provides back-up to other Real Estate Lending staff as needed Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned Skills & Qualifications Education/Certification & Experience: One-three years’ experience processing conventional and government loans High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of real estate lending criteria, compliance, federal/state regulations Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment typical to Real Estate Lending Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Encompass Software is preferred Active NMLS number is required Qualifications Behaviors Preferred Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Motivations Preferred Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks Growth Opportunities: Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibility Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
