About The Position
Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting for a Mortgage Banker. Sandy Spring Bank (SSB) is a community lender committed to serving our footprint aggressively with highly competitive product offerings. Our mortgage department includes in-house processing, underwriting, portfolio and secondary market lending. As a Mortgage Banker, you will acquire and deepen relationships with clients through comprehensive promotion and marketing of mortgage products. In addition, you will develop and work with centers of influence to expand SSB's client base. You will be required to deliver strong results in mortgage and home, land and construction lending products, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, while providing exceptional service throughout the sales process. You will also insure that we are meeting the client's total financial needs by appropriately cross-selling bank products and services.
