MORTGAGE AND CONSUMER LOAN PROCESSOR POSITION SUMMARY The Mortgage and Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for performing all functions and processes required to prepare compliant loan documents and document imaging, while maintaining the quality of the bank’s electronic loan documentation. This is not a remote position. SCHEDULE: Full-time role 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Additional or different hours may be necessary as business needs warrant

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Demonstrated proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy; basic keyboarding skills are required.
Strong attention to detail
Understands computer and other equipment capabilities and limitations
Ability to learn and retain a complex variety of information related to loan policies and procedures
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to apply commonly understood knowledge to carry out instructions and instruct others, understand procedures, and write reports and correspondence
Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Lending or banking experience preferred
General knowledge of residential and/or consumer loans preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare loan documents efficiently and in a timely manner
Fund loans
Imaging and indexing of appropriate documents for the bank’s imaging system
Answer questions for co-workers in written form, by telephone, or in person, pertaining to electronic files, and prepare loan documents
Maintain accurate and compliant electronic image files for customers
Separate and index all scanned documents in a timely manner
Check images for accuracy and quality
Maintain document imaging system for efficiency, organization, and accuracy
Control documentation for mortgage and consumer loan types
Provide additional support for mortgage loan officers, as determined bythe management team
