About The Position
Townsquare Media is seeking a dynamic and engaging Morning Show Host for our Shreveport KXKS brand. This role is not just about being on-air; we are looking for a multifaceted content creator who can elevate our brand and connect with the community. As a digital-first company, we prioritize local content and community involvement, and we expect our hosts to embrace and integrate digital platforms into their daily routines. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-hosting our popular morning show on KXKS, Kiss Country 93.7, while also serving as the Brand Manager for CHR KRUF, K94.5. This position requires a strong presence both on-air and in the community, as you will be the face of our station, engaging with listeners and building relationships that foster loyalty and growth. In addition to on-air responsibilities, the Morning Show Host will assist the Director of Content on various projects aimed at enhancing the quality of our brands and events. You will play a crucial role in building a high-performing team that embodies positivity and professionalism. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in radio, who is not only a great communicator but also possesses the leadership skills necessary to inspire and manage a team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of full-time radio experience, a deep understanding of FCC regulations, and the ability to operate control boards and remote broadcasting equipment.
