About The Position

The position involves providing service of beverage and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and proper setup of the service station, greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Requirements

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.
• Ability to read and understand menus and special promotions, and communicate in English.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
• Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room.
• Maintain a positive attitude throughout shift.
• Work as a team player.
• Ability to remain motivated during busy and slow periods.
• Cash handling and self-banking position, requires ability to maintain funds and accurately count back change.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and learn point of sale procedures.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
• TIPS (or similar certification) and Bartender certification preferred.
• Required memorization of all table numbers.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during, and after shift.
• Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain all specials, promotions, and snacks.
• Take orders, recite selection of all call and premium brands as requested.
• Provide appropriate snack and garnish with all beverages.
• Input orders into point of sale system in a timely fashion.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist with the bar area.
• Replenish beverages as requested and check back with guests for satisfaction.
• Present the guest with the check promptly, thank them, and invite them to return.
• Perform all assigned side work and complete daily checklist.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products.
• Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
• Suggest drink pairing with all menu items and educate guests on drinks.
• Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations.
