About The Position

The Moorage Administrator at Seattle Yacht Club is responsible for the daily operations and administration of the Portage Bay Marina, which includes managing moorage for members and guests, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records. This role serves as the primary point of contact for members and requires excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve safety-related issues immediately.
• Ensure vessels are moored in compliance with SYC By-Laws and Portage Bay Marina Regulations.
• Maintain accurate data in the NorthStar marina module and update software as required.
• Manage permanent and guest moorage in coordination with Front Desk and Facilities Manager to maximize revenues.
• Regularly walk the docks to be familiar with the area.
• Document, track, and resolve moorage-related issues, including compliance, maintenance, and invoicing.
• Act as a liaison for the Portage Bay Marina Committee regarding moorage issues.
• Coordinate marina tasks with the Facilities Director, including inspections and emergency response plans.
• Maintain current documentation per SYC By-Laws and Portage Bay Marina Regulations in NorthStar and on file.
• Oversee and manage the moorage seniority waitlist and post updates on the SYC Moorage Website quarterly.
• Audit and manage slip assignments and moorage applications.
• Ensure monthly charges for moorage are accurate and handle electrical meter readings.
• Respond timely and courteously to member inquiries.
• Prepare a monthly report on marina occupancy, revenue, and outstanding Lessee issues.
