About The Position

Support daily operations by assisting patrons, managing front-desk tasks, and handling equipment checkouts and returns. Help prepare, organize, and maintain equipment and storage areas, ensuring items are clean, functional, and properly documented. Perform basic inventory tasks, labeling, and record-keeping. Contribute to general upkeep, special projects, and routine opening/closing procedures as directed by full-time staff. The Equipment Checkout team at Moody College plays a vital role in supporting students, faculty, and staff by managing the reservation, preparation, and return of media production equipment. We ensure users have access to reliable, well-maintained equipment and a smooth checkout experience, enabling successful academic and creative work. Responsibilities

  • Provide front-desk support, including greeting, answering calls, and assisting with general inquiries.
  • Preparing and staging equipment reservations for pickup and supporting patrons.
  • Check in returned equipment by verifying contents, cleanliness, and basic functionality.
  • Accurately document checkouts and returns, following established procedures and workflows.
  • Maintain clean, organized equipment storage areas and return items to proper locations.
  • Help perform daily opening and closing tasks.
  • Assist with inventory counts and submitting equipment problem tickets as needed.
  • Support general operational needs and completing projects assigned by full-time staff.
