Requirements

• 0 to 6 months of experience in a similar role or food safety experience preferred.
• No high school diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the department work area, equipment, tables, utensils, and floor to ensure safety and meet sanitation regulations.
• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers and ensuring their orders are filled to meet expectations.
• Answer customer questions and make suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
• Provide products and services that meet the requirements of internal and external customers, abiding by the Company's Statement of Values.
• Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Set up and replenish food cases according to Company standards and procedures, ensuring code dating procedures are followed.
• Accurately record special orders on prepared foods products to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining coolers and freezers by unloading deliveries and ensuring efficiency.
• Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals and rotate/check code dates on products for customer safety.
• Check in deliveries by comparing invoices to merchandise and assist in other areas as required.
