About The Position
La Bella Vita Montessori School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a Teacher Assistant, you will work collaboratively with our experienced Montessori teachers to create an enriching educational experience for our students aged 18 months to 3 years. Our school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters a love of learning, independence, and self-confidence in each child, guided by the Montessori principles of education. In this role, you will assist the lead Montessori teacher in creating a prepared environment that encourages exploration, independence, and growth for toddlers. You will collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori activities that stimulate intellectual, social, and emotional development. Observing and recording the progress of individual children will be essential to ensure that each child's needs and interests are met. You will also support children in developing essential life skills, such as self-care, grace, and courtesy, while fostering a positive and respectful classroom culture. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, facilitating daily routines, and effectively communicating with parents about their child's development. Additionally, you will have opportunities to attend professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance your knowledge of Montessori principles and best practices.
