About The Position

Discovery Kidzone Montessori is seeking a Certified Montessori Lead Teacher to guide children ages 3–5 in a joyful, innovative, and nurturing environment. Requirements

Montessori certification required (NAMC, AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited programs accepted)
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children ages 0–5 in a licensed early childhood setting
Strong classroom leadership skills grounded in consistency, compassion, and intention
Passion for child-centered, Montessori-inspired education
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
A growth mindset and enthusiasm for continued learning

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain an intentional, child-led Montessori classroom for ages 3–5
Observe, guide, and support each child’s development with warmth, curiosity, and purpose
Use authentic Montessori materials to foster independence, confidence, and lifelong learning
Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom routines
Document learning experiences through observation, displays, and family communication
Maintain positive, professional relationships with families and staff
Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing and Montessori standards
