About The Position

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. As a Lead Teacher, you are: Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Engaging! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. Learning! Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics. Inspiring! Implement the Montessori curriculum (with assistance of the Director, a School Education Manager, Team Lead, or faculty mentor) and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences. We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have: Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field; previous lead teacher experience preferred. Completed a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education preferred. Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply. Compensation & Benefits: Pay based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options Lead Teacher: $18.14 – $27.22 Teacher: $16.80 – $23.52 Assistant Teacher: $16.00 – $22.40 Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees. Limited medical offered for part-time workers. Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees Monday-Friday work week

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field
  • Completed a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead teacher experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education preferred
