About The Position

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. As a Lead Teacher, you are: Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Engaging! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. Learning! Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics. Inspiring! Implement the Montessori curriculum (with assistance of the Director, a School Education Manager, Team Lead, or faculty mentor) and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences. We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have: Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field; previous lead teacher experience preferred. Completed a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education preferred. Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field
