About The Position

Hudson Montessori School is seeking a part-time Children's House assistant and Afterhours staff member to support the lead teachers and provide care for children after school hours. The role involves assisting in classroom management, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. The position is part-time, Monday to Friday, from approximately noon to 6:00 PM, with potential for additional hours during the summer.

Requirements

• Childcare Substitute Teaching Certification or Teaching Certification.
• Experience with children in a classroom setting.
• Montessori experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Entry-level position suitable for those starting their careers.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in classroom management and duties.

• Communicate professionally with children and parents.
• Meet with lead teachers to discuss class and student goals.
• Provide focused care for children in the Afterhours program.
