Monitoring Application Support Analyst Splunk/Dynatrace

As a Monitoring Application Support Analyst specializing in Splunk and Dynatrace, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and support of monitoring solutions across various applications within the organization. This position is not focused on application development but requires a solid understanding of how applications function, including their interaction with middleware, system software, and hardware components. You will collaborate with Business, Application Development, and Support teams, as well as Monitoring Tools teams, to create comprehensive monitoring requirements and build end-to-end monitoring solutions that effectively support applications. Your responsibilities will include the rollout of strategic monitoring tools across Banking APS applications, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for monitoring tools that are part of the global monitoring strategy. You will be responsible for setting up monitoring for applications hosted on Cloud and Containers infrastructure, hosting demos and training sessions to promote the adoption of monitoring tools, and preparing related materials such as presentations and operational manuals. Additionally, you will liaise with APS teams to plan and schedule deployments, assist in configuring monitoring events and dashboards, and prepare reports on monitoring tool adoption and relevant metrics. This role requires a proactive individual who can participate in global discussions regarding the evolution of the global monitoring strategy. You will need to possess diverse engineering skills to architect and implement effective monitoring solutions, ensuring that the tools are utilized to their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a large, multi-data center enterprise environment and will be able to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization, linking business context to technical realities.
