About The Position

The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Monitor at Fairview High School/Middle School. This is a seven (7) hours per day, 186 days per school year (student days) position.

Requirements

• Educational Student Monitor Permit
• High School Diploma
• Friendly and polite demeanor
• Ability to work well with staff, students and parents as a member of the team
• Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
• Evidence of strong disciplinary strategies for working with students

Responsibilities

• Collaborate, monitor, and report student progress of task completion
• Provide general network of assistance to students
• Communicate to staff on status and needs of students
• Monitor and promote appropriate student behavior in all areas including hallways and work areas
• Maintain accurate written student records including discipline
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by building administrator
