About The Position

Responsible for the monitoring and recognition of continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department.
• Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
• Current BLS certification. Certification of completion of a Cardiac Monitoring EKG course.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
