About The Position

The Monitor Technician, 12 hours reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework or 1 year of previous cardiac monitoring experience.
• CPR - Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the cardiac monitors of patients.
• Identify abnormal and normal rhythms.
• Promptly report cardiac rhythm and rate changes.
• Maintain accurate record keeping.
• Possess effective communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills.
