Requirements
- Successful completion of a Basic EKG Course
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course or equivalent
- Basic Computer Skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Unit Secretary preferred
Responsibilities
- The Monitor Tech accurately transcribes and processes all patient care orders to completion.
- Acts as the communication hub for the department.
- Performs departmental record keeping.
- Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology.
- Orders, stocks and organizes office and unit supplies.
- Maintains an accurate census and communicates this to all appropriate departments in a timely and effective manner.
