Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Successful completion of a monitor technician program, within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- The Monitor Technician is accountable and responsible for viewing the cardiac monitor for each patient, recognizing and reporting abnormal patterns.
- The continual monitoring of all patients on cardiac monitors and reporting all changes to the appropriate nurse.
