About The Position

The position is responsible for continuously observing and interpreting ECG patterns on the oscilloscope under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The incumbent will document all pertinent information on rhythm strips and notify Medical or Nursing staff of changes or abnormalities in patient rhythms. This role is subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.

Requirements

• Education skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics.
• Knowledge of job content and requirements as acquired by on-the-job training.
• Knowledge of hospital policies/procedures, practices, techniques, and equipment as acquired through orientation.
