Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician
• Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
• CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry.
• Provide RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.
