About The Position

The monitor technician is responsible for identifying cardiac rhythms and notifying the nurse of changes in the rhythm. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Vocational/Technical School/Diploma required
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Monitor Tech or Basic Arrhythmia Class required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

Responsibilities

• Identifying cardiac rhythms
• Notifying the nurse of changes in the rhythm
• Demonstrating Service Excellence at all times
• Performing other duties as assigned
