POSITION SUMMARY: Knowledgeable and efficient in use of Order Communication System, Electronic Patient File, ED computerized log maintenance and statistics, and discharge instructions. Maintains responsibility for accurate transcription of physicians' orders, processing paper work, maintaining records and supplies, and handling communications in order to provide a more effective and organized patient care area. Displays superior customer service skills with all customers: Physicians, hospital staff, patients and families. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications Education: HIGH SCHOOL OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED
