About The Position

If so, Hilton Milwaukee is looking for a friendly, motivated Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server to join our Food & Beverage team. Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, Hilton Milwaukee is the largest hotel in Milwaukee. Originally built in 1927 as the historic Schroeder Hotel, the property features 554 guest rooms and oversees The Marc Hotel with an additional 175 rooms and suites, offering more than 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space. We proudly blend timeless elegance with modern hospitality. What will you be doing? As a Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests by: Providing friendly, attentive, and timely beverage and snack service Greeting guests warmly and confidently explaining drink specials and promotions Taking accurate orders and entering them promptly into the POS system Demonstrating knowledge of cocktails, beer selections, taps, and premium brands Maintaining cleanliness of guest tables, service stations, and lounge areas Replenishing beverages and checking back regularly to ensure guest satisfaction Handling cash accurately and responsibly in a self-banking environment Assisting the bar team and supporting overall lounge operations Adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws and safety standards Performing side work, cleaning duties, and special guest requests as needed What do you bring to the role? Basic knowledge of food and beverage service (cocktail experience preferred) Ability to memorize and promote menu items and beverage offerings Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Comfort working in both busy and slower-paced environments Ability to lift and carry trays up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods Cash handling experience and ability to operate a POS system Willingness to obtain required licenses and certifications (TIPS certification required; bartender certification preferred) No prior experience required—we are happy to train the right candidate Scheduling & Physical Requirements Part-time position averaging 20–30 hours per week Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout shifts Indoor work environment with occasional exposure to lounge-related odors and cleaning products What’s in it for you? Requirements
