We are seeking a Molecular Imaging Technologist I (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures using radionuclides for patients of all ages. We are cutting edge with research and innovative new PET tracers, oncology driven, and fast-paced with a variety of exams. Our Nuclear Medicine equipment includes: GE Infinia, GE Infinia Hawkeye and Optima. Our PET/CT equipment includes: Siemens BioGraph Vision. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • New Graduates accepted
  • California State Certification in Nuclear Medicine AND
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT) or R.T. (N) (ARRT)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • With <3 years of experiences as a Nuc Med Tech, candidates may be considered for Molecular Imaging Technologist I (Pay Range for MIT II: $46.58//hr - $60.55/hr - $74.52/hr)
  • With >3 years of experiences as a Nuc Med Tech, candidates may be considered for Molecular Imaging Technologist II (Pay Range for MIT II: $51.23/hr - $66.60/hr - $81.98/hr)

Responsibilities

  • Rotate between General Nuclear Medicine, Theranostics and PET/CT.
  • Perform radionuclide procedures on patients of all ages, inclusive of organ imaging, function studies, computer analysis and assisting the physician in the therapeutic administration of radioisotopes under prescribed conditions.
  • Be responsible for equipment calibration checks/field uniformity, and reporting/scheduling equipment maintenance, as necessary.
  • Utilize protective shielding and prescribed safety standards for radioactive sources in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • May include weekends and on-call scheduling
