  • Safely and efficiently set, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic and die-cast products that meet customer specifications.
  • Perform all required functions in the Mii system, including job tracking and documentation.
  • Conduct mold setup, startups, color changes, and shutdowns, following all established procedures.
  • Perform quality checks on products using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet criteria.
  • Identify and report any defective parts or machine malfunctions to the supervisor or plant lead.
  • Assemble plastic and die-cast components and conduct functional product testing.
  • Load dryers, hoppers, and color feeders; label and move finished products to designated areas.
  • Assist with minor mold change functions and perform preventive maintenance on molds.
  • Troubleshoot and document issues with the molding process and mold setup.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 6S standards.
  • Work safely in a high-paced environment with changing priorities and participate actively in plant-wide safety initiatives.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED required, with a solid and stable job history.
  • Mechanical and/or technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn molding processes and equipment.
  • General knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, components, and plastic materials/resins is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work any shift, including overtime and weekends, as required.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, bending, pushing/pulling heavy equipment, and tolerating high heat and humidity.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Willing and able to actively participate in plant-wide safety initiatives.
