About The Position

The Molding Summer Help will assist with day to day operations in the Molding department to gain hands-on experience with injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment. They will also be assigned specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2026 corporate strategy. Scope of Projects: Molding Asset Tracking – Refresh labels, verify locations, and document all molds in the Molding department. Look at usage data and use AI tools to help create PM schedules. Water line organization and refurbishment. Day-to-day Molding Department support.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Plastics Engineering
• Candidates should have completed their introductory level classes
• Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
• Prolonged sitting, typing and lifting up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Previous injection molding experience a plus
• Automation/Robot programming experience a plus
