Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field plus 10 years related experience in an injection molding environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Oral/Written Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification. Writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
  • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; monitors own work to ensure quality; demonstrates commitment and supports the Company's Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Develop molding processes and parameters for new and improved products to maximize quality and production.
  • Works with design engineers, tool makers, Senior Project Engineer or Engineering Project Manager to develop new tooling specifications and schedules.
  • Implements functional, cost-effective tool and molding Process.
  • Develop and maintain molding process parameter records.
  • Proactively look for and recommend process improvements.
  • Work closely with the Engineering & Operations Teams to solve complex problems and recommend improvements.
  • Assist Maintain molding machines, molds and processing area in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
