About The Position

The Molding Operator position at Milwaukee Tool in Cookeville, Tennessee involves following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to inspect, trim, and pack finished molded parts. The role requires the ability to stand for 12 hours or more and involves unloading finished injection molded parts from bins or conveyors. Operators will utilize special tools to ream or correct finished parts to specifications, stack finished molded parts into designated boxes or Gaylords, and label each completed box as directed. Additionally, the operator will stack completed boxes onto designated skids and use a hand-operated pallet jack to move completed skids or Gaylords to assigned locations. Regular housekeeping according to company standards is also required, along with performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Moderate proficiency in English

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous injection molding experience and/or certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP's to inspect, trim and pack finished molded parts.
• Unload finished injection molded parts from bin and/or conveyor.
• Utilize special tools to ream/correct finished parts to specifications.
• Stack finished molded parts into designated box or designated Gaylord in workstation.
• Label each completed box as directed.
• Stack each completed box onto designated skid in assigned workstation(s).
• Use hand operated pallet jack to move completed skids and/or Gaylord's to assigned location.
• Follow SOP's at each work station assigned.
• Perform regular housekeeping according to company standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
