About The Position

The Molding Machine Operator is responsible for running molding equipment to produce quality products efficiently. This entry-level position requires monitoring output quality and adhering to safety and quality standards set by NeedleTech Products, Inc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating an injection mold machine is preferred.
• 6 to 12 months to learn the operation of equipment and machinery used by the department.
• Basic to moderate levels of measuring tool and microscope skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to stand throughout an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to comprehend drawings and use measuring equipment as needed.
• Ability to perform minor repairs/changeovers when trained and experienced.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molding machine for operation by cleaning work area, organizing tools, and reviewing documentation.
• Operate machine and monitor output quality to ensure products meet NeedleTech quality system standards.
• Follow all product handling procedures and handle products with care.
• Use inspection microscope and toolmakers microscope to verify workmanship of products.
• Monitor output during shift to ensure standard run rates are achieved.
• Alert floor technician, work leader, or supervisor of any problems with the machine or product quality.
• Complete all associated documentation required per NeedleTech Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicate pass down information if pertinent to job assignment.
• Clean and organize work area upon completion of shift.
• Perform other duties as required.
