About The Position

The purpose of a Machine Maintenance technician is to inspect and repair molding machines as directed by the Molding Machine Maintenance Manager or Molding Maintenance Lead. As part of the Molding team you'll be responsible for....

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanically inclined.
Self-starter with eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Trade School, Technical, or Mechanical certificate a plus

Responsibilities

Must be trained on, understand and follow all Amcor Safety Absolutes
Perform preventive maintenance procedures as specified.
Complete work assigned by Manager or Lead person.
Communicate activities with Manager and other members of the department.
Maintain neat and orderly appearance of plant and molding machines.
Assist in other departments as requested by Manager or Lead person.
Seek training to stay current with job requirements.
Assume control of machine when a situation arises which has potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.
Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems on molding machines.
Responsibilities and Authority include assuring compliance with federal, state, government and/or any appropriate regulatory law or guidelines
