U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for a molder to produce parts, examine parts for defects, and deliver required quantity for kits.

Read work orders to determine which parts are required to be produced, define product specifications, and outline materials requirements.
Position assembled mold on press bed of molding machine and aligns die with matrix.
Sets machine controls to regulate forming pressure of machine and curing time of plastic in mold.
Starts machine to produce samples, examines samples for defects, and adjusts machine set-up to eliminate defects.
Responsible for examining all parts produced to make sure there are no defects.
Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
Producing molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
Other job functions as required.

High School diploma or equivalent
Experience not required, but a +; willing to train the right person
Visual Acuity
Strong manual dexterity
Attention to detail
Comfortable using machines
Ability to lift 30lbs.
