About The Position

U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for a molder to produce parts, examine parts for defects, and deliver required quantity for kits.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience not required, but a +; willing to train the right person
  • Visual Acuity
  • Strong manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable using machines
  • Ability to lift 30lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders to determine which parts are required to be produced, define product specifications, and outline materials requirements.
  • Position assembled mold on press bed of molding machine and aligns die with matrix.
  • Sets machine controls to regulate forming pressure of machine and curing time of plastic in mold.
  • Starts machine to produce samples, examines samples for defects, and adjusts machine set-up to eliminate defects.
  • Responsible for examining all parts produced to make sure there are no defects.
  • Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
  • Producing molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Other job functions as required.
