About The Position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to adhere to brake duration and return to work station promptly. Checks press for tonnage, mold and preheaters for temperature. Cuts/prepares material for molding at the press. Loads preforms/extrusions into preheater. Loads preforms /extrusions into mold. Operates press according to job specifications. Cleans up around press/work area during cure time. Unload parts from mold. Inspects parts for flaws/seeks corrective action if needed. Completes all required "trimming at the press". Cleans mold and equipment in preparation for next shot. Records time and work on Labor Ticket each day. Communicates all production/press related information to next shift Press Operator, or shift Supervisor Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Moves molding material from staging area to press line Assists in training of new workers Relieves and fill-ins during lunch breaks Ability to work independently or in a team environment Attention to detail and accuracy This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this position. Requirements
