The Mold Technician Apprenticeship is a four-year program with structured on-the-job training and 12 classes equating to 16 college credits through Northwoods Technical College at their New Richmond campus. It is recognized by the State of Wisconsin, Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards as the INJECTION MOLD SET-UP (PLASTIC) APPRENTICE. Upon successful completion of the program, the apprentice will receive their Journeyman card through the Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards. The starting rate for this role is $21/hr, with scheduled progressions to $30/hr upon graduation. By completion of the Apprentice Program, the Apprentice must be able to perform all of the basic and advanced responsibilities listed below.
