About The Position

The Mold Splitter is responsible for separating molds in the foundry process to ensure the production of high-quality railroad wheels. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations, supporting the overall goals of Amsted Rail, Griffin Wheel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
• Ability to operate mold splitting tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

• Experience in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of mold splitting techniques and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Separate molds using specialized tools and equipment.
• Inspect molds for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
