About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate highly automated injection molding facilities where equipment reliability, mold integrity, and preventive maintenance are critical to maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, assembling, disassembling, and maintaining precision molds used in plastic injection molding equipment. This role supports routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure molds and auxiliary equipment remain in proper working condition and production downtime is minimized.

Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment
• Working knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, PRP, HACCP, and food contact material requirements (in applicable facilities)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift and carry 45–50 pounds repetitively
• Ability to maintain steady hand coordination when working with precision components
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include hot or cold conditions
• Ability to wear required PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment
• Inspect and clean molds to ensure proper operation
• Lubricate mold and die components and check for wear or potential issues
• Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions and report major concerns to maintenance personnel
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Assist during mold changeovers and production setup as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles
• Perform other duties as assigned
