Requirements

  • Working knowledge of all safety requirements and PPE, ISO, GMPS, SQF
  • Previous overhead crane operation preferred
  • Lock out/Tag out experience preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

  • Follow schedule and change molds in a safe and efficient manner
  • Change/pull molds for repair, etc. as instructed by immediate supervisor
  • Proper setup and testing of robots as needed
  • Notify immediate supervisor of any issues or problems encountered while changing molds
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment
  • Be familiar with and follow housekeeping, safety, hygienic, and disposal regulations used in the plant
  • Lockout and unsafe equipment and take necessary action, complete a work order to maintenance department as needed. Notify immediate supervisor
  • Inspect condition of holes in platen at each mold change. Repair holes needing attention
  • Be familiar with all food-safety procedures/instructions related to your work
  • Be familiar with and follow ISO, SQF, and HACCP procedures/instructions related to your work
  • Perform other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor
