Schedule: 12-hour shifts: Daylight (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) / Nightshift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Rotating schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on / 2 days off. You do not rotate shifts. You either work daylight or nightshift. Work a total of 15 days per month, with every other weekend off. Starting Wage: $22.50/hour Summary : The Mold Maintenance/Mold Setter Technician will work with the Lead Technician and Maintenance crew, maintaining molds and machines to keep production efficiencies at a high level. This is considered an entry-level position in the Maintenance department with many opportunities for advancement and higher pay. Additional training and job progression are available for this role! Requirements

  • Successfully complete forklift and crane training class
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Will be required to complete online training with strong understanding of machine and mold components and their functions.
  • Ability to calmly communicate with other associates in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of frequent climbing and heavy lifting
  • Must have own tools
  • Basic computer, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Must have good attendance and policy record. (Internal applicants must have less than 2 points)
  • Must have good work ethic & time management skills.
  • Must be able to work as a team.
  • Must be self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Mold maintenance (clean, lube, and inspect molds in the machine)
  • Restart machines already in production
  • Assist with pulling and setting molds
  • Keep shop and auxiliary area clean and organized
  • Keep machines, robots, platforms, and auxiliary equipment cleaned
  • Keep the floor free of debris, oil, and other liquids
  • Maintain machine chutes and part containment
  • Minor machine maintenance (oil levels and greasers filled)
  • Continuing online training for more technical positions
  • Duties and tasks to be assigned by Lead Tech or Manager
  • Follow all Keter Safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
